What is GRS Recycled Cotton?

GRS (Global Recycled Standard) recycled cotton uses repurposed cotton that would otherwise be waste. This includes manufacturing scraps and post-consumer textiles. Our blend contains 80% recycled and 20% virgin cotton for strength, plus durable polycotton stitching.

How is Recycled Cotton Made?

Scraps of fabric from manufacturing are collected and processed back into usable fibres. Because recycling weakens cotton, virgin cotton is added for strength. The resulting material, certified by GRS, is then used to create new products. Our mesh bags are woven to size to eliminate fabric waste.

Why is Recycled Cotton a Sustainable Material?

We use GRS certified recycled cotton to support a circular economy. By repurposing textile waste, we reduce landfill and the need for virgin cotton production, conserving resources. Our production methods, including minimising waste in mesh bag creation, further lessen our environmental impact. Durability and recyclability enhance the sustainability of our products.
